One of the most visible symbol is the Danish flag (Danebrog). You can see it everywhere. Each house has a special pole for flag and when is good opportunity like a statutory public holiday, birthday in family or wedding the flag is flying next to the house. Danish people are proud for this symbol maybe because is consider to be the oldest flag in the world.
